Monsieur Meteo

June 2012: Chateauneuf-du-Pape

Walking the streets of Chateauneuf-du-Pape, I noticed a man with a lovely hitch in his step. Apparently, he is the village meteorologist, foreseeing the local weather on a daily basis. Today, he told me, would be hot; the grapes will simmer delightfully under the sun in the cloudless sky. Tomorrow’s forecast, however, is still up in the air.

  1. I love your style. I feel and see your photos as life enhancing I also really like your use of Miller’s quote – “I travel a lot; I hate having my life disrupted by routine.”. It is so true. Keep writing and telling your creative and unusual story.
